A custom soundtrack for a sampling project by two graphic design students.

Jolijn Ceelen & Jorian Bekker, two graphic design students at ArtEZ Arnhem, present their latest project on sampling:
‘VILLA FIASCO! The act of sampling’


For this project they’ve asked several artists to sample the same Vietnamese folk song.
To show that sampling is a very creative process and musicians can interpret sounds in diverse ways and produce vastly different end results.
The outcome is presented on a CD, with essays included, one of them by Jos de Mul.
